Need something fun this weekend? Impaktor is an iPhone/iPad app that instantly turns tapping on a table into a wide variety of drum sounds. There's almost no latency and it is pretty darn accurate. There are plenty of neat percussion sounds, and those sounds are easily manipulated and changed. You can even quickly create loops and layer different sounds. I've been having a blast with it.
