Let’s Build a Theremin Instrument Together!
It’s Halloween time again! To celebrate the occasion, I wanted to create a theremin Instrument Rack, just like the ones used in classic horror movies. In the video below, I take you through the entire process in real time. First we synthesize the theremin with Ableton Live’s Wavetable. Then we add expressive controls with pressure and the modulation wheel. After that, we create some atmosphere with Live’s built-in effects. Finally, we finish the instrument off by building it into an Instrument Rack with 4 handy Macro Controls.
