If you are into glitched out drums, with deep bass and some awesome crackle, then I have some good news for you.  

Over the past few months I have been working with Richard of Voltage Disciple to create a pretty sick Ableton Live Pack.  I created a load of percussion/drum sounds using my Moog Slim Phatty.  The Slim Phatty has such great sounds; super heavy bass and beautiful analog goodness are its defining characteristics.  I sent them over to Richard who began doing his dirty work, racking the samples up, trimming them, naming them, adding some really amazing effects... He sent them back to me, and I got to work augmenting them even further, doing everything I could to create some of the most dirty, messed up, yet very usable drum sounds possible.  

We did this back and forth a few times to create a bunch of unique drum racks.  Next we built a bunch of interest Impulse devices, housing some really cool samples not just from the Moog, but from deep within our respective sample libraries.  Finally, Richard added one of the coolest sequencers (that does not require Max for Live or any other add-ons) for the Novation Launchpad Ableton Live Controller.  We bundled that all up and created the very first Afro-Volt Live Pack.  Richard and I are both really proud of the work we put into this massive collaboration and I'm sure you will be too.  Get a taste in the video below and pick it up here.
