Using Dummy Clips to Automate Effects in Ableton Live
For the final part of my four-part tutorial series for Berklee Online, I go over the concept of Dummy Clips and how you can use them in your productions. Dummy Clips are silent audio clips that are used for automation. You can send audio to a track with Dummy Clips, and then launch different Dummy Clips to create different effect automations.
