Live Performance by Senator Jaiz

I spoke with Eban Crawford, aka Senator Jaiz, on the Music Production Podcast, just before he went to run his workshop, "No Permission Needed," at Moogfest. It was a great talk about his plans for the event and his work at the Museum of Natural Sciences.

Listen to the conversation.

Listen to the "No Permission Needed" workshop at Moogfest.

Upon his return, he began working on a new live performance set, designed to begin with a blank Ableton Live Session and create everything live and on the fly. In his walkthrough video, he goes through his project and some of the devices he uses, including a few of my own!

My post Moogfest break is over and that means it is time to get back in the studio to make music and to get out and play live! I have some shows coming up, but they are different to shows I have done before.

Here's links to the devices he used so you can use them in your music.

And here is a video of his performance:

This is my experimental improv set from June 20, 2017 as part of the Parallel Universe Experimental Showcase hosted by the Triangle Electro Jam and Ted Johnson. this was at Nightlight Bar and Club in Chapel Hill, NC. For this set I went in with an empty Ableton Live set and built everything from scratch.
