4-Track Ableton Live Pack Stars 4 Analog Synthesizers
I created a total of 44 wide-ranging patches on my Moog Sub Phatty, Sequential Prophet 6, Novation Bass Station 2, and Korg MS-20 analog synthesizers. I routed each synth to my 4-track cassette recorder.
Moog Sub Phatty, Sequential Prophet 6, Novation Bass Station 2, and Korg MS-20 were all used to create 4-Track Ableton Live Pack.
Synths on Cassette Tape
Next, I recorded samples of each synth patch to my Yamaha MT4X 4-track cassette recorder. I made sure the patches were overdriving the tape slightly. This creates a powerful signal, full of extra saturation and harmonics, perfect for dropping into Ableton Live’s samplers.
Each synth was sampled to my 4-Track Cassette Recorder for analog tape warmth and saturation.
Carefully Crafted Ableton Live Instrument Racks
Once the tape-kissed samples were inside Live, I built Instrument Racks that give us complete control over each sound, allowing them to fit perfectly in any mix. Then I added 3 Audio Effect Racks to take the analog synth sounds into new sonic territories. Sculpt each sound exactly as you need and add the perfect amount of effects to keep your listeners excited. The 3 Audio Effect Racks can easily be used on any sound in any project.

The 4-Track Audio Effects:
Parallel Moving Filters gives you independent low pass and high pass filters with swirling motion and filter drive.
Chorus Reverb Delay allows you to add space, depth, and distance to your sounds.
Vintage Feeling is a 1-knob effect that adds extra saturation and distortion, while emphasizing the tape hiss of each sound.
