Fully Programmable Analog Synthesizer
Analog Synth is a fully programmable, 2 oscillator, sample-based, analog synthesizer in Ableton Live. Blend 2 oscillators, each with 7 independent waveform options that can be tuned and spread across the stereo field. Dial in the noise oscillator, which allows you to add pink or white noise or your own custom blend of both. Sculpt the amplitude envelop and use Live’s analog-modeled filters to dial in the perfect sound for your next track.
The 42 included presets give you an assortment of useful pads, leads, basses, plucks, and keys. I designed each sound to be immediately useful for any style of music.
Built from Samples of Analog Synthesizer Oscillators
The oscillators are built from samples of the Behringer Model D analog synthesizer, which were carefully recorded to maintain their analog character. In total, there are 7 different oscillator waveforms you can assign to each of the two oscillators. Mix, match, spread, and tune the oscillators, then add a dose of white and/or pink noise to complete your sounds.
Using samples of analog oscillators gives the instrument the classic sound of synthesizers we all know and love.
Color Your Sounds with the Analog FX Audio Effect Rack
I also built Analog FX, a custom Audio FX Rack that easily adds life and energy to Analog Synth. It features both low and high pass filters, two types of distortions, Reverb, Chorus, and Delay. You have control over the most important parameters with the 16 Macro Controls. Analog FX has 6 presets you can switch between and adjust as needed. Try experimenting with the Rand button for surprise effect chains.
While Analog FX was designed for Analog Synth specifically, You will find it to be quite useful on all types of sounds and instruments, not just Analog Synth.
