50 Custom Presets for Ableton's Drift Synthesizer
Custom Drift Ableton Live Presets
Ableton's Drift synthesizer has tremendous sonic capabilities. I’ve created a wide range of sounds from basses and leads to pads and keys. There’s even a 16-pad Drum Rack all made with Drift. In total, there are 50 custom sounds to take your next track to new levels.
Requires Ableton Live Lite 11.3 or Above
Expressive Sounds to Express Yourself
Drift is designed to capture the organic quality of hardware analog synthesizers. Key to that sound is slight variability and randomness to synchronization, timing, and tuning. Modern digital synthesizers have managed to perfectly tune, quantize, and synchronize oscillators, leaving us with sometimes stale and sterile sounds. Drift allows you to inject just the right amount of variability to get that warm fuzzy analog feeling.
Sounds That Bring Your Music to Life
The presets I’ve created are designed to take advantage of everything that makes Drift special. Each sound has depth and dimension. I spent extra attention to ensure that sounds evolve and change over time, sometimes subtly and sometimes drastically. As you play the sounds, experiment with Aftertouch Pressure to feel the changes under your fingers.
Great Sounding Music Requires Great Sounds
The sounds in this collection are the result of weeks of careful programming. They are meant to be immediately useful without any configuration. Simply select a preset and start creating. Listen to my improvisations with the presets in the video below. They sound great right away!
