Save Time by Reusing Tracks - 2 Minute Ableton Live Tip #48
While working on songs for my band’s album, I wanted to record a guitar that sounded similar to the other guitars on another song. So rather than adding a new track, recreating the plug-in, routing audio inputs, etc., I simply dragged the original track from the other song into my current song. Since my friend Alex was ready to record guitar, I don’t want to waste valuable time with these sorts of repetitive processes.
Live’s Browser allows you to drag entire Live Sets and even individual tracks into your current project. This is especially useful if there’s a sound you want to reuse to give your project more continuity. It’s a powerful time saver.
