Educational Materials

Teaching is a central part of my life. I work as a high school English teacher, I teach music production for Berklee Online, and I’ve produced hundreds of free tutorials. At the core of my teaching philosophy is being a life-long learner. I believe it is important to continually learn new material and apply it to your work. I know from experience that talent and ability are the culmination of hard work, dedication, and quality guidance. The educational material is designed to give you focused guidance so you can apply your hard work and dedication in the most effective ways possible.

In November 2013, I successfully completed Ableton’s grueling certification program to become an Ableton Certified Trainer. Ableton certifies “only the best and most capable trainers in order to ensure that the Ableton user community has access to a high standard of training” (Ableton.com). As a Certified Trainer, I am committed to offering the highest quality resources and staying on top of new developments in the world of music production.
