Tone:

Informal conversation rather than a formal interview.

Length:

Completely flexible, on average about an hour.

Editing:

I want you to be happy and comfortable with the show, so we can edit anything you want. Otherwise, the only edits are any glitches, pauses, or interruptions.

Recording:

The podcast is done on the web-based Riverside platform. Once you choose a time, you will receive a link.

Navigate to the link using the Chrome browser.

If possible, use an external mic and headphones. Even the mic in your headphones is better than nothing. Headphones prevent echo and increase audio quality.

Close any unnecessary applications to prevent CPU overload.

Accompanying Download (New Idea):

I am experimenting with releasing a free download to accompany each episode.

This can take form in many ways. Guest provides a sample, preset, music, etc. I could manipulate a guest-provided sound into an Ableton Live Instrument.

It’s completely optional and I’d like to be as little work for my guests as possible.

I’m open to ideas!
