Casio VL-1 for Ableton Live

The Casio VL-1 is a fun lo-fi synthesizer  from the early 1980s.  It has a unique sound and was used on many hit songs including Trio's "Da Da Da" (check out the odd and amusing video below). I recently purchased one on eBay and immediately got to work sampling all of its sounds and assembling them into Ableton Live Racks.  I created seven racks in total and added effects and capabilities impossible on the original synth.  Since then, my VL-1 has lived in its box and the Ableton Instruments have become a goto choice whenever a song calls for some lo-fi nostalgia.  I've added these instruments to my collection of premium racks for your enjoyment.  Check it out below. Here is a video description of the downloads:

I sampled every sound on my Casio VL-1 electronic musical instrument and calculator. From there I created Sampled instruments using Ableton Live Racks. Lots of features that are impossible on the original and loads of fun. Lofi Nostalgic Goodness!
