Splice Mini Course: Creating Your Own Unique Sound
Splice, the DAW backup and collaboration site, just launched Learn with Splice. It's 9 mini courses that will help you learn your DAW with videos and project downloads.
I partnered with Splice to create a course on developing your own unique sound. The course is divided into 3 parts:
In the course, I do some creative sampling of my 100 year old piano, discuss tuning and preparing the samples, and turn them into an Ableton Live Instrument Rack. You can save the Instrument Rack to use in your own productions. The course consists of a video for each part, as well as an Ableton Live project so you can follow along. Below is the first video, followed by the Splice DNA Player, featuring a Live Set made with the instrument rack built in the course.

Learn Ableton Live and Production with Splice
The Learn with Splice launch features 5 Ableton Live courses by some pretty amazing people. I'm honored to be in the company of Multiplier, Tom Cosm, Mr. Bill, and Interstate JT. Their course also allow you to download the projects to follow along with the videos. It's a great chance to learn something new from the experts.
