Super 8-Bit Ableton Live Pack Getting it Done!
My love for old school video game music is one of the main factors that got me into synthesis. I distinctly remember the excitement I felt when I got the MIDINES and was able to start composing using my Nintendo Entertainment System. As I explored the NES's soundcard, I developed an interest in synthesis. Mostly to satisfy my own desires, I sampled the daylights out of my NES and a Gameboy using a Synthboy, and built 150 Ableton Live Instruments in the Super 8-Bit Ableton Live Pack.
The Super 8-Bit Pack has been one of my best selling Ableton Live Packs, and I regularly receive messages of its use in peoples' music. Today I want to share a few incredible uses recently shared with me.
Chefelf with the 8-Bit Cover Albums!
Forget cover songs, Chefelf is busting out cover albums. And he is doing it at an alarmingly fast rate, one track per day. I wonder if a day has more than 24 hours for Chefelf. Get a dose of metal from 8-Bit Megadeth, then some funk from 8-Bit Red Hot Chili Peppers. Incredible!
