Ben Burnes has released a collection of 300 samples from his "definitely not haunted" shed, using ultra sensitive LOM Uši microphones. Ben was my first guest on the Music Production Podcast! His thoughts on budgeting your time stuck with me  and are worth the listen alone.

Grab this pack on Gumroad here: https://gum.co/bb_delicate This sample pack contains over 300 original samples captured in my definitely-not-haunted shed. Using ultra sensitive LOM Uši microphones, I was able to capture quiet, delicate sounds in stereo and amplify them for audio and sound design.

Peter Kirn talks with Susan Rogers about musical intelligence:

Susan Rogers has built three different and successful careers in the music industry. In the 80s, Rogers was Prince's sound engineer in the recording sessions for albums such as Sign 'o the Times, Around the World in a Day or Purple Rain.

CDM also provided this piece on how Che Pope manages time. Very important to do!

Landr has some good tips for starting a new song.

Here's a great talk on the subtleties of mastering with Mandy Parnell and Dennis DeSantis:

At Ableton Loop 2017 we sat down with award-winning mastering engineer Mandy Parnell to discuss what mastering is (and isn't), best practices for preparing material, the variety of available gear, the reality of "home mastering" as a financial necessity, online mastering services and much more.
